The long wait is over. The originators of the “party-math” genre finally release their long awaited (by this writer) EP. It is good. And you pay what you want, which makes it awesomer. The 5 tracks that comprise Party Mathematics clock in at a massive 15 and a half minutes in total, and feature a small amount of not terrible vocals alongside some outstanding musicianship the likes of which you would not have heard before cos these guys invent this shit. They give a nod in the direction of the math rock tradition by giving the tracks slightly ludicrous titles - standouts include ‘amBROsius’ and ‘Algoresrhythm’, the latter of which features the outstanding lyric “oohooohohbababahh, oohooohohwoahwooahwoahh” - pay what u want - i like this method
